The Potter’s Arms is a traditional village pub set on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in glorious rural Buckinghamshire, but close to fast road and rail connections to London and the Midlands.
We offer a range of well-kept Real Ales including Brakspears; an eclectic range of wines; and home –cooked English cuisine.
Log fires greet the weary traveller in the original ingle-nook hearth from the days when the Potter plied his trade. A spacious bar and a forty-seater restaurant provide a comfortable and friendly ambience. To the rear of the main bar is the ‘sports area – darts, pool and a large-screen TV, plus various traditional Pub games. We also hold other events such as Poker Nights, Karaoke, Petanque, Live Music etc.
Our Restaurant is currently open for Sunday Luncheon only, except for residents by prior arrangement. Bar snacks are available at the weekends, including occasional charcoal barbecues during clement weather.
We also provide accommodation in our four comfortably-appointed en-suite bedrooms at reasonable rates. Perfect for a layover and handy for departures and arrivals from Heathrow - only about twenty minutes away by car. Click on the green button for availability and rates.
You are assured a warm and hospitable welcome from the Landlord, Michael Orpen-Palmer FBII, and his friendly staff.
